For restaurants
Every branch's bills, booked per branch
BookMyBills books the supplier bills restaurant branches send on WhatsApp: each branch group becomes that branch's cost centre, food, packaging, gas and water bills are read with their 15% VAT, returns to suppliers are booked as credits, and the same bill sent from two branches is booked once. Your accountant approves before anything posts.
Why are restaurant bills hard to book?
A restaurant with several branches buys every day from many suppliers: meat, dairy, vegetables, bread, packaging, gas and water. Branch managers and drivers photograph the bills in their WhatsApp group, sometimes twice, sometimes days later. Returns to the dairy supplier arrive as separate slips. Head office then has to sort every photo by branch and type it in.
How does BookMyBills handle it?
- Your team sends the bill. A photo, PDF or voice note in the WhatsApp group they already use. No app to install.
- BookMyBills reads it. Supplier, VAT number, date, lines, 15% VAT and the right account, ready for review.
- You approve, it posts. One click and the entry is in your books, with the original photo attached.
What does a restaurant get?
- Branch from the group: each branch WhatsApp group is that branch, so every bill lands on the right cost centre
- Returns as credits: returned stock booked as a supplier credit against the right supplier, VAT reversed
- Duplicates caught: the same supplier bill from the branch and from head office is booked once
- Small cash buys: a voice note like "paid 40 for ice" becomes an entry, and it asks for the receipt
- Arabic bills: Arabic and bilingual tax invoices read, with the ZATCA QR checked
Common questions
Can it read Arabic bills?
Yes. It reads Arabic and English bills, including bilingual Saudi tax invoices, and voice notes in any language. Replies in the group are in English.
How does it stop duplicate bills?
When the same bill arrives twice, for example from the driver and then the branch manager, it is booked once and the second copy is flagged. The same photo sent again is caught too.
Does it handle returns and supplier credits?
Yes. A purchase return or credit note is booked as a supplier credit against the right supplier, with the VAT reversed, instead of a new bill.
Can it post to the right branch or project?
Yes. Each WhatsApp group can be a branch, and every entry carries its branch and cost centre. Each company is kept fully separate.
